About Zara, Zara tasseographer

Zara is Zara behind Zara's Coffee Grounds, a free Turkish coffee cup reading service used by thousands of people every month. She interprets the shapes left by coffee grounds in a flipped cup - a practice known as tasseography in English and kahve falı in Turkish - and delivers a personalised reading in seconds.

How Zara reads your cup

When you upload a photo, a vision model isolates the major shapes in the grounds (animals, objects, letters, numbers, lines and clusters). A language model then matches those shapes to Zara's symbol library and weaves them into a narrative covering love, money, work, travel and luck. Position matters: rim symbols speak to the near future, the middle describes the present, and the bottom of the cup carries older or slower stories.

Sources & tradition

Zara's symbol vocabulary is built from canonical tasseography sources - the Turkish kahve falı tradition, the Greek school documented by Sasha Fenton, Jane Lyle's European tasseography work, and the broader Levantine coffee-reading literature. Interpretations are cross-referenced for consistency before being translated into English, French, Spanish, Turkish and Arabic. You can browse the live symbol dictionary or the cup reading meaning guide to see the same vocabulary Zara uses.

Languages

Zara reads in 5 languages: English, Français, Español, Türkçe and العربية. Each language uses native idioms - Zara isn't translated word-for-word, she's localized so that a French reading sounds French and a Turkish reading carries the warmth of fal tradition.

Why the first reading is free

The first cup is on the house so you can test Zara's accuracy before paying for anything. Premium add-ons (soulmate description, lucky numbers, year-ahead forecast) are optional - the core reading itself stays free, forever.

Trust & disclosure

Zara is Zara persona, not a human psychic. Readings are generated by Zara models and are intended for entertainment, reflection and conversation. Zara's Coffee Grounds does not make medical, legal or financial decisions for you - please use your own judgement.
